Will is a seasoned sound technician with over four decades of experience in both live sound and studio recording. Born and bred in the United States, Will is affectionately known by many as "American Will," "Big Will," or the iconic "Glastonbury Guy." His career has been nothing short of impressive, with a wealth of experience working in some of the most renowned venues and festivals around the world.
Will’s extensive career has seen him collaborate with a wide range of legendary artists, including Pee Wee Ellis, Billy Bragg, Toploader, Haim, Goldie Looking Chain, and Wishbone Ash, to name just a few. His deep knowledge of live sound and recording technology, paired with his decades of on-the-ground experience, have made him a go-to expert for events and productions.

When we asked Will to write a bio this is what he produced.
"He hears things. In many frequencies. Things that need to be ordered, enhanced, subtracted, mixed. He uses the latest digital technology to achieve this. but he hasn't always. Many years were spent in the analog universe. But no one cares, least of all, Will.

With a passion for music that spans across genres, Will continues to bring his wealth of expertise to every project he’s a part of, and his influence in the world of live sound is undeniable.
Josh is an accomplished musician, educator, and sound technician with a diverse career spanning decades. Holding a First-Class BA (Hons) degree in Music, which he completed in 2014, as well as a PGCE in teaching, Josh brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to both the classroom and the live music scene.
Currently, Josh works as the Head of Music at a secondary school, where he has been lecturing A-Level Music Technology for the past ten years. Alongside his teaching career, Josh has toured and performed as a drummer for decades, honing his skills and passion for live music. He has also gained extensive experience as a live sound technician, having worked on a variety of events and performances.
One of his career highlights was working at Glastonbury Festival, where he provided sound support for several small stages, including Toad Hall, In the Woods, and Woodsies Bar. Josh’s expertise extends to a wide range of events, including weddings, festivals, small venues, where he brings his technical skills and musical background to ensure flawless sound. With a strong foundation in both performance and technical production, Josh is dedicated to inspiring the next generation of musicians and technicians while continuing to make his mark in the world of live events.
Millie is the newest and youngest member of the HL Audio team, but she’s already making a big impact with her impressive technical skills and passion for live sound. Having achieved an A in A-Level Music Technology and a Grade 8 Distinction in Singing, Millie combines her musical talent with her technical expertise to deliver high-quality sound at every event.
Despite being early in her career, Millie has already gained valuable experience working at major events such as Shambala Festival, Glastonbury, and Trowbridge Festival. With hands-on knowledge in both Monitor and Front-of-House sound, she’s proven herself to be a hardworking and skilled technician.
Eager to expand her knowledge and skills, Millie is soon to begin studying live sound at university, setting her up for an exciting future in the industry. With her dedication, talent, and drive, Millie is poised for a promising career ahead.
